Modus is based in North America. Personal information is processed in North America and may be processed by service providers located in other countries. Where personal information is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to countries that have not been granted an adequacy decision, Modus relies on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful safeguards. 6. Data Retention

Modus keeps personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. General retention guidelines:

  • Customer account data: for the life of the account, plus a retention period after closure
  • Order and transaction data: for the period required by tax and consumer protection law
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or request deletion
