Behind the scenes
Modus means "a way of doing things," and this philosophy runs throughout the entire brand lineup, focusing on innovative excellence, high-fidelity sound, and irresistible design.
Behind Modus are two engineers, Tony D'Amore and Juan Rodriguez of D'Amore Engineering, who had been quietly perfecting something extraordinary for years. Their PREACT current averaging technology lived in working prototypes, installed in their personal vehicles and those of friends and family, solving problems most people didn't even think to address.
But they knew breakthrough technology meant nothing if it stayed in the lab. They needed a team that could deliver audiophile-grade performance with installer-friendly design. Word spread quietly. The best designers, engineers, and installers started gathering around this vision of doing things differently.
In 2024, operating under the codename "Project M," this team transformed years of prototype development into scalable technology, and Modus became their public identity in March 2025.
