About MODUS

MODUS is the car and marine audio brand of DSP Solutions, Inc., based in Oxnard, California. Our amplifier technology began with the engineers of D'Amore Engineering, who spent years developing PREACT current averaging through hands-on prototyping and real-world validation. In March 2025, that work became MODUS.

Today the MODUS line includes marine receivers, amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers, plus car receivers and amplifiers, in three families:

• Apex, our flagship line
• Mezzo, built around PREACT and ACTEQ
• Portale, compact Class D amplifiers

MODUS products are sold through authorized specialty dealers and carry a 2-year limited warranty.
